The peripheral arthropathy in BD is frequent but association of BD and ankylosing spondylitis(AS) has rarely been reported especially in children. Methods: Among 12 pediatric cases of BD, we describe a 14-year old girl fulfilling the International diagnostic criteria for BD as well as B. Amor and ESSG criteria for AS.Results: The few reported cases of association of BD and AS are in adults. This association is very rare in children. The inclusion of BD among seronegative spondylarthritides is still being debatedConclusion: This combination is rare. However, it seems legitimate to look after the other disease when one of these two conditions is diagnosed either in an adult or in a child.Citation: , volume , supplement , year 2002, page Session: Paediatric rheumatology
